HIP HOP vs HIP SLOP .

After growing up in the age of the true school of the original hip hop culture,that's right a culture that has gone to hell . Now, I'm not hate'n on the financial gain of todays artist. It's just that they are'nt saying shit. Na mean , ya got phat beats , but it's the lyrics that are stupid. Let's go back in the day for a second and take "The Message" and "White Line"from Grand Master Flash and the Furious Five to Public Enemy. These groups wanted you to have fun and party but want you to think about somthing at the same time.In the early 90's Public Enemy ,Poor Rightious Teachers,King Sun and The Sword,Paris and intelligent hoodlum followed through with consious hip hop.Many music executives and christian and jewish leadership saw young black youth becoming aware to the knowledge of self and had to devise a way to stop this movement so the incorperated ghostspell or gospel and gangster rapper to halt the black power movement in the early 90's.This black power form of hip hop was encouraged by the Honorable Minster Louis Farrakhan.Black youth like myself started studing Islam (a peaceful way of life).Now look at today's hip hop,50 cent,lil john and the eastside boy's, lil kim ,snoop doog, BEYONCE and khia .These are the influences of todays black youth ,this shit must end.Instead for finding one's self in the truth of right knowledge, young black males of today want to be gang-bangers and kill each other and young girls want to be strippers on music videos or porn stars ,I fear this is the next phase in the hip slop industry.
